Fritz Kalkbrenner started his tour on 7 March 2013. He combines a variety of genres, his tracks sound a little bit melancholic and warm with a hint of pop, but always cool and smooth. Kalkbrenner is promoting his new album „Sick Travellin‘“, released October 2012, with more than 30 shows on his tour across Europe and Asia. On 7 April, a special benefit concert will take place. Musicians of any genre, who want to make a difference are invited to perform under the motto: I am Jonny – voices for our brother. Jonny K. was the victim of a violent crime at Alexanderplatz for helping his friend. Due to his civil courage, he lost his life. 7 April 2013 would have been his 21st birthday. The registered society „I Am Jonny e.V.“ is dedicated to inform the public, especially children and adolescents, about peaceful coexistence, civil courage and respect. Black Box Music and many other companies such as Admiralspalast, PSD Bank Berlin, MCM, Lindt and Estée Lauder are sponsoring this special event to set an example as well. (more…)

The members of SEEED took a break for a couple of years to work on several solo projects, but now SEEED are back, with an impressive new album and a large-scale tour across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.      Mieze (lead singer), Andy (guitar), Bob (bass) and Gunnar (drums) are the members of the band MIA. After a three-year hiatus they are back now, playing shows in 13 German cities on their „Tacheles“ tour. Each of MIA.´s shows is a unique experience and on 15 Dezember 2012 they played a show in Berlin. For 1 ½ hours, the audience was mesmerised by a mixture of punk and electronic music. Opening act for each of the 13 shows was the band Laing (second prize winner at BuViSoCo). Black Box Music provided the lighting and sound equipment für MIA.´s „Tacheles“ tour in cooperation with Audiosmith and Tigersound. (more…)

In September 2012 – six years after her last album – Nelly Furtado now releases her fifth studio album, named „The Spirit Indestructible“. The long-awaited European tour finally started in March 2013. Nelly Furtado is touring Italy, Switzerland and Slowenia and she is playing 5 shows in Germany. On Sunday, 3 March 2013, she performed in Berlin. After the performances of Celia Pelli, Dylan Murray and Noah Becker, Nelly Furtado entered the stage punctually at 8pm and excited the audience. The singer, who is of Portuguese – Canadian origin, has not lost her charm over the last years and delivered an excellent performance with a great voice. The audience was delighted by her natural attraction. The high-light of the show was the guest appearance of singer Ray Garvey, who performed the hit „All good things“ together with Nelly. (more…)

In January 2013, the 10th anniversary of the „Premium“ fashion fair was celebrated with a festive dinner hosted by celebrity chef Markus Semmler, followed by a big party with live acts such as „The Cuban Brothers“. The „Premium“ fashion fair is one of the trendiest and most diverse fashion events, where international trends are being presented. Anita and Norbert Tilmann, who initiated the „Premium“, succeeded in assuring Berlin´s status as internationally accepted fashion capital with their fashion fair, as the „Premium“ is meanwhile a permanent feature of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.
