Berlin Summer Rave


On July 21st, 2012 21.000 techno fans danced at the third Berlin Summer Rave 2012 to techno beats of well known DJs like Marusha and Westbam. The Summer Rave has become an integral part of the Berlin summer party calendar. It is now one of the largest indoor-raves around the world and enjoys international recognition. It was spread out over three hangars and two dance floors with different styles of current electronic music. Nearly 50 artists followed the call to Berlin and served the guests with non-stop techno beats. The headliners included Westbam, AKA AKA and Lützenkirchen.

Black Box Music presented the equipment, including rigging for 3 hangars and outdoor areas. 12 trailers and about 90 people of staff were needed. The following sound equipment was consisted: L-Acoustic K1, L-Acoustic SB 28, L-Acoustic ARCS, L-Acoustic LA-RAK, Dolby Lake processing, radio links of Shure and Sennheiser and the full DJ equipment. Lighting and video technical terms, the following material was required: VariLite VL 3000 Spot, Martin MAC III, Martin MAC 2000 Wash XB, Martin Mac 700, Martin Atomic 3000 strobe, Martin Mac 101, Martin MAC aura, Clay Paky Sharpy, Clay Paky Alpha Beam, Clay Paky Shotlight, GLP Impression 120 RZ, Color Kinetics Color Blaze 72, Color Kinetics Color Blast TRX, Upstaging LED Headlight, a lot of 6 and 4 BARS, GRANDMA Full Size 2, MA lighting dimmer, Flying Pig lighting consoles, MDG Hazer and the Martin EC-20 system.
